Managing our GHG and Energy Performance
Climate change is one of the most pressing challenges both globally and nationally, and it is expected to significantly impact Adaro Group’s operational activities. In response, Adaro Group is committed to adopting best practices for measuring and evaluating emissions performance across its operations.
As part of its long-term sustainability strategy, Adaro Group remains dedicated to enhancing energy efficiency through the structured implementation of concrete initiatives. These include the ECO program, energy diversification efforts, and sustainable energy management practices.
To further strengthen its commitment, Adaro Group is also developing a comprehensive energy policy that will be integrated into our Sustainability Policy. This policy will support the continued development and execution of various energy efficiency initiatives across the organization.

To support this, environmental impact management is implemented comprehensively, spanning from production through to post-mining activities. The post-mining program is carried out once mining operations have concluded, ensuring responsible land rehabilitation and long-term sustainability.

To uphold this, Adaro Group is committed to minimizing environmental impacts by protecting, conserving, and restoring affected ecosystems in alignment with spatial planning regulations. Regular biodiversity monitoring is also conducted to ensure effective oversight.
To further reduce the impact of its operations on biodiversity, Adaro Group adheres to all relevant environmental regulations and carries out biodiversity monitoring in both reclamation areas and the Paringin biodiversity zone.
